Lisa fell deeply in love with yoga at the very beginning of her spiritual journey, over 25 years ago, during this time she was also studying Buddhism at the London Buddhist Society. Since then her journey has taken her all over the world.
Lisa’s style of yoga has been influenced by the teachings and guidance of her teachers over the years. I have embraced the various traditions of Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Dru Dance, Kundalini, Yin Yoga, Partner Yoga & Qi Gong. Studied Raja Yoga with the Brahma Kumaris.
Lisa's approach to yoga is a fusion of breathing (pranayama) & classic yoga postures (asanas) bringing into union the breath & postures to build sequences which flow into a moving meditation.
Her gentle and inspiring approach will help to expand and deepen your understanding of yoga and how it can impact your daily life as well as gradually build strength & encourage suppleness into your body. Connection between you & your body & your breath & your mind can be challenging but also very rewarding, leaving you feeling mentally refresh, calm and at peace.
Lisa’s yoga session on Saturday
A blissful blend of flowing yoga and moving meditation. A fusion of mindful movement / flowing sequences and a guided Buddhist insight meditation.
